Not only is this web site very much a work-in-progress - so are we!
In old English usage a 'liege man' was someone who pledged their life in loyalty and service to a king or lord. And that essentially expresses what we are about. Our ethos is unashamedly Christian, and we are committed to honouring Jesus as King of Kings in every area of our lives – whether business, personal relationships, worship or leisure.
It is therefore our intention that as this web site develops it should cover several different areas:
Liegeman People is a place where Liegeman personnel and associates can do and say their own thing – personal web pages, blogs, photo galleries, etc…
Liegeman Services will host business-oriented services. Some of these services may be charged for: but our goal will be to serve rather than make money. As resources permit, some services will be provided free of charge or specially discounted to certain individuals or groups, at our discretion.
Liegeman Projects will showcase particular areas of need with which we have become involved. We believe that resourcing others should be an integral part of what we do. But Jesus also taught that when we give we should “not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.” So projects will be mainly featured to encourage others to become involved and, where practicable, will provide means by which you can contribute to them.
Liegeman Life will address the broader lifestyle issues, ranging from debates about the meaning of life to teaching about what Christians believe and how this should affect our everyday relationships.
